LOS ANGELES CHARGERS PARTNER WITH RHYMES WITH REASON

California NFL Team Supports Literacy Efforts Within Los Angeles Area Boys & Girls Clubs

Rhymes With Reason is excited to announce a partnership with the Los Angeles Chargers that will bring our award-winning, music-backed educational programs to hundreds of young people in central Los Angeles this summer.

The Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund focuses on two main impact areas – Youth Empowerment and Community Advancement – to achieve its mission of creating opportunity in under-resourced neighborhoods so today's dreams can become tomorrow's reality. This mission aligns perfectly with Rhymes With Reason's own goal of expanding access to culturally relevant literacy resources, therefore improving academic outcomes and life skills for students in need.

Via the partnership, students at four Boys & Girls Clubs of Los Angeles will gain full access to our educational technology. Along with the learning opportunity comes exciting incentives provided by the Chargers, such as a chance to attend a pre-season game for students learning new vocabulary.

Students Impacted
We are so inspired by the Los Angeles Chargers commitment to keeping kids learning this summer. Their initiative to add Rhymes With Reason to their already amazing lineup of educational supports - such as the Bolts Book Club - will allow for our truly innovative program to make impact at a greater scale. Students are so motivated by music, making this edtech program the perfect way to keep them engaged outside of school.
