Every young person deserves the chance to see themselves as a creator, a dreamer, and a leader. The Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation, founded by 15-time GRAMMY Award–winning artist Alicia Keys, is partnering with Rhymes With Reason to make that vision real for students across the country.
Launching in October 2025, this multi-city initiative will bring Rhymes With Reason’s innovative digital platform — which teaches vocabulary through the lyrics of popular music — to 1,250 students in Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, and New York City.
Each student will receive access to a custom-built “You Don't Know My Name...yet” learning module, featuring vocabulary from Alicia Keys’ Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen and songs from her iconic discography. The module challenges students to explore words tied to creativity, resilience, and finding their own voice — showing them that literacy can be both empowering and personal.
Students will also participate in live kickoff workshops, where Rhymes With Reason brings music, learning, and self-expression together in unforgettable experiences. The program will continue throughout the school year, with additional summer programming and ongoing student recognition for growth, creativity, and achievement.
Together, Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation and Rhymes With Reason are helping students discover the power of their words — and the potential of their dreams.
